Doug Eldridge, a GMU Law Alum, is set to run his ninth marathon of the year, the Marine Corps Marathon, in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, October 25 for the Wounded Warrior Project. The Wounded Warrior Project is a nationwide non-profit organization and campaign established to raise awareness and enlist the public's support for severely injured service men.

First-Year Career Services Orientation and Events: First-year career services programming begins at the end of this month and runs throughout November. Sessions are offered for day and evening students, food is provided, and students will have an opportunity to mingle with counselors, upperclassmen, and alumni who have successfully navigated the career path.

In an effort to keep the student body apprised of what SBA is doing, I prepared the following summary of SBA activities since the last Docket issue. At the most recent meeting the policy on alcohol at on-campus events was reiterated. All alcohol MUST stay where the bartender and the police are during on-campus events - it may NOT leave the Atrium.
